American Girl characters past and present show girls today that they can do great things if they believe in themselves and each other. From a Native American girl living in the Northwest in 1764 to a contemporary girl whose passions inspire action, the characters in every story illustrate the power of determination, imagination, courage, and hope—the same spirit that inspires modern American girls.
My daughters are big fans of the books. I am too. When I was young, I loved the Little House on the Prairie series. Many of these stories remind me of the adventures of Laura Ingalls Wilder. The America Girl collection of young girls full of excitement, bravery, intelligence and wonder are perfect role models to inspire my three daughters.
We were introduced the series by our teenage neighbor. She passed on her entire library of American Girl books, including a math skills book and a creative writing journal.
This neighbor hosted her own private American Girl Doll Giveaway when she graciously passed on her prize doll to my daughters. This doll has been well-loved by first Hannah, and now my daughters Ava, Sophia, and Grace.
Now it’s time for us to extend the gesture to all of you. Sugar and The Spice is taking part in an incredible giveaway this month.
One lucky winner will receive an American Girl Doll & Book.
This incredible giveaway is organized by: Mom Powered Media. Giveaway ends March 6th at 11:59 pm, open to US and Canadian residents, ages 18+. To enter please use the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck.
